Infor CloudSuite
Industry-Specific Cloud ERP
About
Infor CloudSuite is a family of industry-specific cloud ERP applications built on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Unlike horizontal ERPs that try to serve every industry, Infor takes a "last-mile" approach — delivering deep, pre-configured functionality for specific verticals including manufacturing, distribution, fashion, food & beverage, healthcare, automotive, and aerospace.
Infor's platform includes the Infor OS (Operating Service) layer providing a unified data lake, AI/ML with Coleman AI, Infor Birst (analytics), and Infor Nexus (supply chain network) — making it one of the most data-driven ERP ecosystems available.
History
Infor was formed in 2002 through the merger of Agilisys and Lakeshore International. Under CEO Charles Phillips (former Oracle president) from 2010, the company pivoted aggressively to cloud — partnering with AWS and redesigning its products with a modern UX (Infor Ming.le and later Infor OS).
In 2020, Koch Industries acquired Infor for approximately $13 billion, taking it private. This enabled massive R&D investment in cloud migration and AI. By 2024, Infor had 65,000+ customers including many Fortune 500 manufacturers.
